Meet Dr.Sanders

Dr. Lisa Sanders is a clinician-educator in the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program. Currently, she is collaborating with the New York Times on an 8 hours documentary series on the process of diagnosis. She helps patients with unique illness and search diagnosis. Knowing that we have a doctor here to help you similarly which Dr. Lisa did through the “diagnosis” documentary.

'I engage my core throughout the day - which means that those muscles are constantly working so I have a flat stomach and a strong back. The best way to remind yourself to do it is to pull your tummy in, then relax the muscles halfway and tie a piece of string round your waist. The string will remind you to pull the muscles in if you relax them too much. What I would never do is wear flat shoes all day long - for me, varying the height of your shoes is an absolute must.
